Hello, my artsy friends, welcome to the weekend! Sundays were meant to be relaxing, so sit back, enjoy, and let those creative juices flow.
This fun journal page designed by Birgit Koopsen has it all, a fuzzy inspirational title/phrase and gorgeous bright fun colors along with lots of techniques and imagination. It truly does make me happy; I hope it does the same for you.
This stunning page looks complicated but when you use your creativity and imagination and take it one layer at a time, you will be surprised at what you can do. Be sure to stop by and visit Birgit while she shares her love of layering and breaks it down step-by-step. You’re gonna love it!
What A Beautiful Day designed by Anna-Karin
Have you ever created a card using acetate? I fell in love with the whimsical feel that the circle die layered over the clear acetate created. And combined with the soft neutral color scheme, this card is sure to bring a smile to anyone.
Anna-Karin shares some great tips and tricks, so click here and I will take you over to her blog Layers Of Ink so you can take notes. It’s time to break out your favorite dies and stamps and create one of your own handmade treasures!
You Are card designed by Betty Wright
Would you believe that this adorable card was designed using no patterned paper whatsoever? This one is all about the stamps! I love how Betty stamped the front of the base with berrylicious ink using a striped background stamp on white paper and then stamped the berrylicious tag with a Swiss Dot background stamp on berrylicious cardstock and Sweet Tooth pigment ink.
Now that you, too, have fallen in love with this beautiful card, just click here and I will take you over to visit Betty where she shares step-by-step instructions. Keep up the good work spreading those smiles one card at a time!
Maybe it’s all the traveling that I do with Scrapbook Expo that attracted me to these cute vintage-inspired luggage tags. After all, shouldn’t our luggage be properly embellished? 😉
On the practical side, if your bags are misplaced, you’ll have these adorable name tags to identify your luggage. If you have a common black suitcase, these will really make your bags easy to identify. For complete step-by-step instructions along with lots of tips, tricks, and a supply list, click here.
