Welcome to Weekly Scrapper! It makes me smile knowing that you’ve found some “ME” time to get your craft on. Sundays are special to me because this is the time that I have to share my passion for crafting with you when we’re not at a Scrapbook Expo. So sit back, relax, and enjoy today’s inspiration.
What makes a house a home? created by Alison Bomber
I was so inspired by this darling piece that I think I’ll be creating several of these for the holidays. Who wouldn’t feel the love that was put into this piece of art? The gift of memories is priceless, and this piece also showcases your family heritage. I’d like to send out a huge thank you to Alison for sharing her amazing design.
Alison created this piece in response to a challenge to make a project that represents the meaning of home. Jump on over with me to Alison’s blog, Words and Pictures, to learn the process Alison followed to create these charming little homes. This piece is full of meaning, from the shapes to the colors and everything in between, and you’ll discover what each element means to her. In Alison’s words, “It’s all about the place where you spend your everyday life… the place you call home.”
Autumn Tree designed by Darsie Bruno
I love the fall; it’s definitely my favorite season of the year. This card really caught my eye with the combination of the beautiful stamping, the colorful leaf, and that touch of burlap (one of my favorite embellishments!). Don’t you agree that these Joy Clair Hello Autumn Clear Stamps are simply beautiful?
The shape of the Spellbinders dies (Spellbinders Paper Arts Labels Twenty-Eight) really helps set off the stamped sentiment. Thanks, Darsie, for sharing this beautiful card. You’ve inspired me to share my love of fall by creating and sending this lovely card!
Happy Fall Ya’all designed by Lizzy
I just have to share another fall-themed card, and you can see why with how visually stunning these cards are. The tree is from Marianne Designs and I love the way Lizzy created a shaker behind it.
Stamping, embossing, a shaker, and beautiful embellishments, it just doesn’t get any better than this! Make sure to visit Lizzy’s blog, A Mermaid’s Crafts, to follow her step-by-step instructions and for a full list of supplies. Thank you, Lizzy, for sharing this lovely project.
Stylish Stamp Storage designed by Jennie Atkinson
Oh, how I love a wonderful mixed media project! Here’s one that is not only beautiful, but also extremely useful. Would you believe this beauty is actually storage for several Tim Holz stamp sets?
I keep picturing myself sitting in my craft room, reaching over to stamp and pulling out these amazing book covers full of stamps to keep myself organized! Come with me over to Jennie’s blog post with step-by-step instructions on how to create your own book covers. And make sure to visit Jennie’s blog, Live the Dream, for all kinds of inspiration!
Oven Baked Italian Meatballs with Marinara Sauce
I have recently discovered a fabulous food blog, Tea & Biscuits, that shows how delicious gluten free cooking can be. My husband is a real meatball fan, and the mention of Italian Meatballs made him a happy man. I really don’t think he needs to know that this delicious meal takes less than thirty minutes to create, do you? Baking them in the oven leaves you plenty of time to pull together the remainder of the meal. Delicious, and also fast and easy. Fabulous!
Come with me over to Sheena’s blog Tea & Biscuits to get the ingredients and directions. You will enjoy browsing her site for lots of deliciousness!
