Hey friends, Becki here. Summer is right around the corner and that means camping. I’m not a fan of camping when we have to stay in a tent BUT I don’t mind camping if we stay in a camper. I found this adorable camper card cut file in the Silhouette Design Store and knew it would make the perfect card for any Summer event.
I only needed a few supplies for this cute card. I used the 6×6 Summer Party paper pad from Echo Park, enamel dots, kraft cardstock, and white crochet thread. I opened the cut file in Silhouette Studio. I wanted the card to be an A2 size so I didn’t resize the cut file. I separated the pieces of the cut file so I could cut the pieces in different colors.
I referred to the photo in Silhouette Studio as I chose the colors for each piece.
Here’s what my cutting mat looked like when I was ready to send it through my Silhouette Cameo.
You could also send each piece through the Silhouette separately so you didn’t have to cut and adhere so many small pieces to the cutting mat. I prefer to save a little bit of time and just send the cutting mat through my Silhouette mat twice (once for the card base, once for the patterned papers).
I love how this card turned out. It makes me smile. I hope it will make a dear friend smile too. Thanks for stopping by the Weekly Scrapper blog. I’ll see you next week!
Too cute!!!
Thank you, Donna! <3
Thanks for “showing” us how you did this…. sometimes a picture truly is worth a thousand words!
