Hey, everyone! Roree here with another Make It! Monday project. Today I am sharing a Christmas ornament I created using a canning jar band.
First, I started with a canning jar band and some patterned paper and stickers from Bella Blvd‘s Make It Merry collection.
I measured the band width and cut out a 3 1/4″ circle from the Fa La La patterned paper. I then decorated the circle with strips of Santa Selfie and Borders & Bits patterned papers and stickers from the Treasures & Text 12×12 Stickers sheet.
I attached a border sticker (also from the Treasures & Text 12×12 Stickers sheet) on the inside of the canning jar band.
I adhered the decorated panel in the inside of the band.
I punched two holes in the lid with my We R Memory Keepers Crop-A-Dile tool.
I threaded the punched holes with baker’s twine and knotted the ends.
Then, I wrapped the band with ribbon and tied a bow to finish.
This was a such a fun and easy ornament to make. You can decorate these bands with any type of paper or embellishments to create totally unique ornaments as gifts or just for your own Christmas tree. They would make cute tags on Christmas presents too!
