Hey, everyone! Roree here with another Make It! Monday project. Today I am sharing a criss cross pocket card I created with some cardstock, a scoring tool, and the Hello Gorgeous collection by My Mind’s Eye.
First, I started with some cardstock and a 12″ paper trimmer with a scoring blade.
I cut the cardstock to 5 x 12″, then I scored it vertically at the 4″ and 8″ marks and horizontally at the 3/4″ and 4 3/4″ marks.
I trimmed off the top strip on the left and right panels and the bottom strip on the center and right panels.
With a pencil, I drew a diagonal line running from the bottom out corners of both end panels to the upper inner corners of each panel.
I created a scalloped edge along both diagonal lines on the outer panels and along the top of the center panel with decorative scissors.
I folded both outer panels towards the center, overlapping the panels.
Then using a corner rounder, I rounded the edges of the bottom flap.
I adhered the bottom flap to the backside of the panel to create the pocket.
I made another pocket from green cardstock using the directions above and also created a 3 3/4″ tag from the same color cardstock and decorated it with patterned paper and a sticker from the My Mind’s Eye’s Hello Gorgeous collection. I added a sentiment sticker and a polka dot ribbon bow to finish.
I hope you enjoyed today’s Make It! Monday project. Thanks so much for stopping by!
