Tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got started crafting: My name is Enza, proud mom of three adorable kids, passionate about scrapbooking, Project Life, photography and everything memory keeping. I was born and raised in Italy, but moved to the U.S. twelve years ago to be with the love of my life. Scrapbooking was non-existent for me growing up. I’ve always loved pens, stationary, pretty paper, but my only option was the office supply store. I remember how exciting the beginning of the school year was for me, as I could get a new planner and start decorating it with stickers, quotes, and magazine scraps. A new world opened up when I first stepped into a scrapbook store back in 2008!!! I’ve been scrapping since then! I still can’t believe I’m here today sharing my projects with you.

Favorite thing to create: It’s hard to choose. I’m kind of addicted to anything that involves paper. My absolute favorite at the moment is creating 12 x 12″ layouts.

What do you love about this hobby? It is a fun and rewarding way to document our day-to-day life. There is nothing like going back and re-living moments and memories through our albums. It’s also the perfect way to express myself and my creativity, to inspire and get inspired by all the amazingly talented artists that are part of the scrapbooking community.

5 fun facts about yourself:
1. I’m addicted to coffee and chocolate. You can’t talk to me before I’ve had my espresso in the morning. Just the smell makes me feel refreshed and ready to start the day.
2. I love antique shops. I could spend hours looking at all those little treasures.
3. I make fancy cakes, with fondant and all, but just for my kids.
4. Dance is my other passion. When I moved to the States, my husband was so sweet to try and take classes with me. We gave up after the first month 😉
5. I love really spicy food. The kind that makes you cry. My husband and kids make fun of me all the time because of it.

Here is the amazing layout Enza made for her spotlight:

WILD HEART by Enza Gudor

I love using cut files and stitching on my layouts. This is one of my most favorite cut files from The Cut Shoppe. It took me days to finish the stitched part. Sure I got discouraged at times, but I could not be happier with the result!

DREAMS by Enza Gudor

This hybrid layout about my sister was recently created for Sahin Designs. One of the things I like to do with digital collections is pick an element and transform it in a way that reflects my style. In this case, the flower was a digital stamp. I transformed it into a cut file and then into a stitching template. I find that the use of watercolors adds dimension and more interest to the layout.

This was also created with a digital collection by Sahin Designs. I fell in love with those flowers and decided to make them the only embellishment on the page.

LOVELY SMILE by Enza Gudor

Oh my… How I love flowers! I had been wanting to create a page with these printables by Wilna Furstenberg for months. I finally had the perfect picture, cut files, and scrapbook collection to go with them.

EVERY DAY HAS A STORY by Enza Gudor

This is a very recent layout I created for Clique Kits with their October kit. The cut file I used matches perfectly the pattern on the paper. Again, you can find some stitching, this time in the form of string art.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and getting to know Enza! See you again with another spotlight in two weeks!
