Freebie Friday with Jen Walker

Hello, Stamp & Scrapbook Expo friends! Every Friday I have the privilege of writing these fun blog posts full of giveaways. I feel very lucky to be able to share these great sponsor companies with you and host both their giveaways and giveaways sponsored by the EXPO team. Today is going to be the last blog post I write for the next 4-6 weeks as I will be away from the office on a medical leave. In my absence, the lovely Pam Baird will be writing the Freebie Friday posts for you. Pam will continue to host giveaways, but the winners will not be announced until I am back in the office.

For today’s post, I am going to share with you some of my favourite projects from the blog. Here we go …

Thanks so much for the opportunity to win. I have been very, VERY I’ll since June and pretty much bed ridden. My craft room misses me and while I try to spend time there, I can’t spend more than about 15 minutes before I have to go back to bed. On top of all that my husband was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia and had an episode in July where he didn’t know who I was or our children. Now that he’s come out of it to a degree and when I get healthy enough, I will spend every moment I can in my craft room…I can’t wait!

    • Rose says:

I know how you feel when you can’t get in your craft room. Get well soon and enjoy your crafting. My best to your husband too.

One thing fun is crafting all day without being interrupted for anything would be one thing . On a totally different level , spending the day playing with my grandchildren and listening to their tiny nod sometimes very large giggles ! Nothing replaces the sound of a child’s laughter. I am disabled from being hit head in from a drunk driver and Didn’t think I would live another day to hear those giggles so I am very blessed! Never been to an expo would be such a blessing!

Expo Tickets, woot woot! I have been to Expos for the past two years, and have to admit I’m looking forward to the next one. I love all the demos and seeing the crafts people are making. And it’s such a collaborative atmosphere.

Let’s see… something fun… the last time I had all of my crafting supplies out, my 5 year old came in and asked to make a card for her aunt, so we spent some time stamping together. I enjoyed sharing my love of crafting with her.
