Saturdays With LeAnn

Happy Family

Saturdays-with-LeAnn

Do you ever have artist’s block?  I think we all have times when we sit down to work on a project and our minds are completely blank.  Today I hope to take care of that for you! I believe you will be inspired by the projects that I have to share with you, so grab your favorite beverage, sit back, and enjoy!  Saturdays were meant for you to take some time for yourself, so I hope you enjoy doing just that. 🙂

Happy Family By Missy Whidden

I am delighted to share this adorable layout designed by the very talented Missy Whidden.  The astonishing moments with our children are not only precious, but very important to scrapbook.  I love Missy’s layout and how she used two special photos set off by attractive chevrons and stitching.

Happy Family

Don’t you love the soft colors?  All of the embellishments are a perfect match to complement the layout. You can just feel the love that these darling photos portray.  My favorite part of the layout is the fact that this is a digital file.  The texture cut files look great with mixed media. The best part is that you can print it as many times as you want.  Click here and I will be happy to take you over to the youtube video so you can see how Missy designed her layout. I would like to thank Missy for sharing her step-by-step video.  I am sure you will want to use this design again.  Enjoy creating your layout!

Hello By Karen Letchworth

Who doesn’t love pretty things?  I know we all enjoy creating pretty things with lovely details.  I am excited to share this darling card created by Karen Letchworth.  There is nothing better than getting a handmade card in the mail that was made with love.  Take the time to brighten up your loved one’s day!

Hello

Karen always does such a perfect job with her layering skills.  You will be in awe when you see all the different possibilities she created.  I have to warn you, once you get the flower fever you can’t stop.  You will start out fussy cutting a few and before you know it, you will have pulled in all sorts of beautiful flowers.  The possibilities are truly endless!

Spring Inspired By Suzanne Czosek

Today I have a fun mixed media tag I would love to share with you.  Break out your stamps, glimmer mists, and stencils, because we are going to add a bit of unexpected dimension to our stamped backgrounds!

Spring Inspired

This jumbo journaling tag will be awesome used on layouts, a card, or even turned into a home décor piece on canvas. Suzanne started with a stamped background and the fine print painted in white paint to create a resist.  If you have fallen in love with this fun mixed media project, click here and I will lead the way over to Suzz’s Stamping Spot.  Have fun creating your own custom tag!  A big thank you to Suzanne for being such an inspiration; you will leave her blog ready to start on your next project.

Lemon Sorbet By Linda

Lemon sorbet is an easy dessert to make at home, and is so worth it.  You don’t even need an ice cream maker to get good results.  Lemon sorbet is a classic, and to top it off just put it into the lemon rind itself.  This makes such a beautiful dessert for showers, weddings, gatherings, or just a fun treat for your family.

Lemon Sorbet is known to cleanse your palate after a meal.  It makes a delightful refreshing finish to any meal.  The creamy four-ingredient sorbet is both sweet and tart.  To get your yummy and easy recipe, click here and you will find the ingredients with the directions for your delicious sorbet treat.  Enjoy! 🙂

Well, my friends, I hope this has been a fun-filled Saturday for you and that you enjoy the rest of your weekend.  As always, thank you for stopping by Weekly Scrapper and sharing part of your day with me.  Have a wonderful week and I will see you back again next Saturday!
