Hello, my very creative friends, and welcome back to Weekly Scrapper! I’m excited to share some fun projects with you today so sit back, relax, and let the creative therapy begin.
High Roller Layout by Leigh Ann Odynski
I love how Leigh used the Sunburst cut file and transformed it into that fun arrow pattern on this fabulous layout. Way to go, Leigh, using those tools and dies in ways other than they were intended, now that’s creativity! I encourage you to play with your supplies like Leigh did. Just because its titled a sunburst doesn’t mean it has to stay a sunburst, right? 😉
This adorable layout has more to it than first meets the eye. I highly recommend stopping by Shimelle’s Blog for a nice visit, where Leigh shares many fun techniques that you won’t want to miss. Click here and we’ll hop on over together; you will definitely be inspired to break out those photos and create one of your famous layouts. Happy scrappin’ my friends!
You’re One Of A Kind By Becca Feeken
This post goes out to all of you shoe lovers. The Wedding Collection is the latest design from the Amazing Paper Grace by Designer Becca Feeken. I love how this line can go from elegant to whimsical just by changing out the paper (you all know how I like bang for my buck when it comes to purchasing dies). I know your mind is spinning with all the different ways to use this oh-so-cute, but no worries, click here and I will lead the way over to the Spellbinders site so you can order your own Amazing Paper Grace Becca Feeken Ladies Shoe Etched Dies.
I’d like to send out a virtual hug to Becca for her generosity in sharing her elegant designs with us. Becca, you truly are a blessing to your fellow paper crafters! It’s time to put your best foot forward and create something special today!
Thank You Card by Lucy Abrams
What makes this card stand out is the white heat embossed sentiment stamped on the aqua colored vellum; such an elegant look. Don’t you love it when a beautiful card comes together so quickly? A big thanks to Lucy for being such an inspiration to her fellow paper crafters!
I hope you’ve been inspired to create one of your handmade cards and remind someone how much you appreciate them. Thank you cards are my favorite cards to make. I’m a firm believer that random acts of kindness should be acknowledged whenever possible and what better way than to send a hug through the mail. Doesn’t it just make your day when a friend makes you a handmade card that actually makes it to the mailbox? 😉
Metallic Flower Keepsake By Riikka Kovasin
If you are looking for a quick yet adorable little keepsake to create for someone, then you are going to enjoy this project designed by the oh-so-talented Riikka Kovasin. How cute would this be with a special photo of you and one of your crafty BFF’s. I love creating fun little keepsakes than giving them as little pishkies later on.
Handmade gifts like these are a great way to show those we love just how appreciated they are – not to mention small projects are a great way to get those creative juices flowing. Once you break out your mixed media tools and embellishments magic happens, so have fun making your own unique keepsakes. Be sure to stop by the Paperiliitin Blog so you can jot down what materials Riikka used to create this sweet mixed media project.
Hawaiian Grilled Chicken
I know that you heard rumor of this amazing Hawaiian Grilled Chicken, and I do believe this is where it all started. If you’re looking for an amazing chicken recipe to serve to a crowd this is definitely a keeper.
With grilling season upon us, this is a perfect recipe to kick off your summer with. Click here and I will take you over to The Girl That Ate Everything Blog so you can print out the recipe. Enjoy!
Thanks for the nice visit! Enjoy your week and I promise to have some fun projects to share with you next Sunday. I’m off to the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo in Chantilly, VA, which is being held at the Dulles Expo Center. If you’re in the area, I would love to hang out with you in person. I’ll meet you in the Creativity Center!
