Sundays With Lorraine

Sundays-with-Lorraine

Hello my crafty friends, and welcome back to Weekly Scrapper. It makes me smile knowing that you’ve found some time in your busy day to enjoy some creative therapy.

So Happy Together Layout By Nicole Nowosad

Sometimes a simple and clean layout can make a huge statement as demonstrated by this fun layout designed by Nicole Nowosad, I love what Nicole created using a few sheets of paper and a handful of Jillibean embellishments. Don’t you just love It when a layout this cute comes together so quickly?

So Happy Together By Nicole Nowosad

Most of the squares that make up the colorful grid/background were cut out of a single sheet of paper from Jillibean Soup’s Chit Chat Chowder Collection. For a full list of the supplies that were used to create this adorable layout, click here and I will be happy to escort you over to Nicole’s blog. Happy scrappin!

Spooky Tag by Zoe

Not to worry, there is still time to create some fun handmade tags for your Halloween treats. With a little help from our crafty friend Zoe you can crank out several of these spooktacular tags in no time.

I hope you’ve been inspired to break out your distress inks and create some spooky magical backgrounds. The stamp sets that Zoe used are from the Halloween Haunting set “Put A Spell On You” & “Hocus Pocus”  by Chocolate Baroque. How clever of Zoe to used some torn paper to create the misty hills in the background.

Halloween Themed Clipboard By Wendy Price

Yes, it’s almost Halloween and things are pretty busy for many of us. To help keep things organized in your busy life I thought you might enjoy this Holy Cow Halloween clipboard that Wendy designed. As many of you know I’m a big fan of anything steampunk and I’m in love with this  must have stamp by Stampendous titled “Steam Pumpkin.”  A jack o’lantern head on a clockwork body makes this steampunk image perfect for Halloween or anytime.

Halloween Themed Clear Clipboard By Wendy Price

I  know I recently posted a card using this stamp but how cute is Mr. Steam Pumpkin on a Clear Scraps acrylic clipboard. Wendy used the Small Scallop Landscape Clipboard which is approximately 6.5″ x 9″.  You might want to pick up a couple because they’re perfect for home décor projects and holiday gifts. They also come in many different sizes and shapes. Click here and we’ll take a trip over to the Clear Scraps site so you can check out all the treasure they have to offer.

EASY SPINACH RICOTTA PASTA

When was the last time you put together a delicious meal for under a $1.00 per serving? I know, pretty unheard of, isn’t it? Well, it gets even better because thanks to Beth we can have this yummy dish on the table in well under an hour. I love Beth’s philosophy that cooking on a budget doesn’t have to mean canned foods and ramen noodles.

EASY SPINACH RICOTTA PASTA

This recipe makes about four side dish sized servings or you could beef it up by adding some chicken or even more vegetables (any grilled vegetable would be awesome with this). Want a little deeper flavor? Try topping it off with some Parmesan. All that’s left is to add a loaf of crusty bread  and you’re good to go.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have an amazing week ahead of you.
