Hello and happy Thursday! I’m so glad you’ve stopped by for Inspiration Station with Becki Adams. Today I have an easy teacher appreciation gift to share with you.
I started this project with a small wooden box that I picked up at the craft store. My first thought was to paint it. Then I thought that it would be fun to cover it in patterned paper. I chose to work with the Happy Summer collection by Echo Park Paper.
I simply covered the front of the box with patterned paper and embellished it with stickers. It was so easy and so FUN!
On the left side of the box I added some large stickers (the tree and the house).
On the right side of the box I spelled out the phrase “Thanks for helping me grow” in letter stickers.
As a finishing touch I added a kite sticker to a bamboo skewer and stuck it in one of the herb pots.
I hope that the special teachers in our lives will enjoy these little herb planters as a teacher appreciation gift. Thanks for stopping by the Weekly Scrapper blog today. I’ll see you again next Thursday!
