Happy Thursday, Becki here. Welcome to Inspiration Station! In April I shared with you a fun teacher appreciation gift for Teacher Appreciation day. Today, I have an end-of-the-year teacher gift idea to share with you. While I was browsing the dollar store the other day, I found a small metal tin. I thought it would be fun to alter it a little bit and make it a gift container for an end-of-the-year teacher gift.
I used the Real Genius collection from Photo Play Paper. It’s perfect for any school-related projects. I covered the tin with patterned paper and added letter stickers to the front. I layered the globe sticker under the sentiment to add a little bit of color to the front of the tin.
On the top of the tin I simply cut a circle from the patterned paper, put an apple sticker in the center, and outlined the circle with a black pen.
The finishing touch to this tin is jute wrapped around the top and a button with a bow in the front.
I plan on adding a gift card and a few treats inside this tin for my daughter’s teacher. One of the best things about this gift is that it can fit inside my daughter’s backpack which means one less trip to the school for mom and that’s something I appreciate during this busy time of year.
Thanks for stopping by, I’ll meet you back here next Thursday. Have a great week!
