Hello friends, Becki here with a fun special feature for you. Felicity Jane is an awesome kit club that I know you’ll fall in love with as quickly as I have. While attending the SPC mixed media event in Salt Lake City, I met the owner of Felicity Jane. Jeana is adorable! We had a great time chatting. I loved learning about her company and drooling over her beautiful products. Recently Felicity Jane sent me a kit to play with. Today, I have two projects that I created with the, Zoey kit. This kit is absolutely gorgeous!! Not only is it beautiful, the products in the kit are high quality as well. Before we talk about the contents of the kit and what I created with the kit, I have to show you what you’ll find when you open a Felicity Jane kit. The Felicity Jane team packages each kit beautifully. Not only can you use the beautiful products to create with, you can also use the beautiful packaging as well. A few days ago, our family was able to watch the solar eclipse. I used the Zoey kit to document our family’s memories of this event. While I did use a white cardstock background, I added a LOT of color to complete the layout. At the top of the page, I added the title “solar eclipse” using the black puffy sticker alphabet. These letters are perfect and so versatile. My favorite embellishment from this kit is the large chipboard numbers. I used the chipboard numbers to create a huge date across the top of the page. I did use something from each embellishment package on this layout. Aren’t those giant sequins so cute?!?! Some of them are adhered with liquid adhesive and some of them are adhered with pop dots. I love using acetate embellishments but adhering them can be tricky. My favorite way to adhere acetate embellishments is to stitch them in place. By sewing them in place, you don’t have to worry about adhesive showing through the acetate.
When I was finished creating my “solar eclipse” layout, I wasn’t quite finished playing with the Zoey kit so I created a card. Did I mention that there is a stamp set in each Felicity Jane kit? Yes, there is a stamp set in each kit. I used the Zoey stamp set to stamp the sentiment on this card. I also added the “zoey” die cut to the front of the card. I had so much fun creating with this kit. I can’t wait to keep creating with this kit. I loved creating my first two projects. Stay tuned for many more projects with the Felicity Jane, Zoey kit. Make sure you hop on over to Felicity Jane, say hello, and order your first Felicity Jane kit. I can’t wait to see what you create with this beautiful kit! I’ll be back next week for another edition of Inspiration Station, I’ll see you then!
Real cute layout and card! I like the uniqueness of the products. TFS
