Hey everyone! Roree here with today’s Make It! Monday post.
Our next show is in Puyallup, WA on June 2nd-3rd. Stamp & Scrapbook Expo will be teaching three “Latest & Greatest” workshops at this show: Card Making, Cool Tools, and Stamping. We have lots of great products from some awesome manufacturers in these classes, and today I am going to be working with products from our Cool Tools workshop: American Crafts‘ Thicker Alignment Guides.
With the small Wave Guide, I created this card:
I used the guide as template to cut a decorative edge with my patterned paper.
(For this card, I chose items from Bella Blvd‘s Make Your Mark collection, specifically the 6×8 Gold Foil Paper Pad, 12×12 Fundamentals Gold Foil Stickers, and Gold Foil Gift Tags that are being featured in the Latest & Greatest: Card Making workshop.)
I then used the guide to place the “Birthday” sentiment after stitching along the waves to enhance the decorative edges.
I finished by adding clusters of embellishments in the open areas above and below the waves.
It is a fun tool that I know I will be using again and again!
