Hey everyone! Roree here with today’s Make It! Monday post.
Our next show is this week in Akron, OH on October 6th & 7th. Stamp & Scrapbook Expo will be teaching three “Latest & Greatest” workshops at this show: Card Making, Cool Tools, and Stamping. Today I am going to be creating with new products from our Latest & Greatest: Cool Tools class: an Embossing Punch from Uchi’s Design.
You may already be familiar with Uchi’s Design. They are known for their cool Animation Clear Stamps. But they also have a wonderful line of Embossing Punches too. Today, I am going to be working with the Star Embossing Punch.
Note: Punch designs may vary at each show location.
With it, I created this card:
This punch is awesome! It is easy to use and with one quick punch, you have a shape that is cut AND embossed.
For this card, I punched four stars from solid patterned paper.
I then created a card front using some patterned paper, stickers, and enamel dots from Echo Park Paper Co.‘s Party Time collection.
I popped a couple of the stars up with foam adhesive to add a little extra dimension.
Tip: The embossing will stand out even more if you use foil cardstock to punch your shapes.
This is such a fun tool. I can’t wait to get the other designs too!
This Latest & Greatest: Card Making workshop featuring Uchi’s Design Embossing Punches will also be taught at our upcoming shows in Sacramento and Ontario. We would love to see you there!
I hope you enjoyed today’s Make It! Monday project. Thanks so much for stopping by!
I have never seen anything like that punch! I am so glad I already signed up for that class in Sacramento. Looking forward to it!
Wonderful idea for a punch- love the dimension!
Cool punch! Wish we would’ve had that in San Jose!
