Hello my crafty friends!  Welcome back to Weekly Scrapper on this beautiful Saturday.  I just got back from another wonderful Stamp & Scrapbook Expo show in Marlborough, MA.  It was such a fun time for everyone.  I was very inspired by so many wonderful ideas and projects, and I’m really excited to share some of those wonderful ideas with you.  Since you are here visiting our blog that means that you are ready for some wonderful inspiration and creative therapy. The Fruit Stand By Mary Ann Jenkins

This adorable layout was created by Mary Ann Jenkins.  Shaker cards are all the rage right now in the world of card making. They are not only interactive and adorable, but they are also so much fun to make. Cafe Parisian Card Set By Elena Olinevich

You will love the contrast of the detailed elements and layers on top of these adorable cards created by a Elena Olinevich.  Elena used the Cafe Parisian Collection from Graphic 45.  There are so many stunning floral papers found in this collection.  The best part about these pages is that they are great to fussy cut to create your own embellishments.  Flowers add the perfect finishing touch to any beautiful project; you can see how adding a few paper flowers made each card more dimensional.

Paper piecing is such a fun way to combine the paper layers with fussy cut elements.  I hope you’ve been inspired to give this technique a try; you will be so glad you did.  Take your cards up a level and add some chipboard, stamps, and even some dies to create an absolutely stunning card.  Who wouldn’t be smiling from ear to ear when they opened up the mailbox to find this beautiful treasure?  So pull out your scissors and start having fun today!

Before we know it, we will start feeling fall in the air, and those summer nights will turn into golden autumn evenings. Why not add a beautiful touch of autumn to your home by adding accents of sunflowers in a beautiful autumn vase. Sunflowers are at their peak in September so now is a great time to bring some into your home.
