Tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got started crafting: Hello! My name is Jessy Christopher. I am 38-year-old stay at home-mum & scrapbook designer in Malaysia. I have been scrapping since the end of 2007. I started off with digital & hybrid scrapbooking and finally ventured into paper scrapbooking in early 2008.

Favorite thing to create: I love creating layouts but also enjoy creating cards, mini albums, altered projects, and gift wrapping.

What do you love about this hobby? What I love the most about scrapbooking is the freedom to express myself. There are no boundaries, I can do whatever on my project that represents my crafty style. It sure helps me preserve all the memories that I want to remember for a long time to come. Scrapbooking has opened opportunities for me to work with manufacturers. I was also given chance to illustrate my designs on clear stamps for a manufacturer & kit club. In this industry, I have met a lot new crafty friends all around the globe through blogs and instagram.

5 fun facts about yourself:
1. I love to sing!
2. I have a thing for British accents.
3. I love Japan.
4. I married my husband whom I have known since I was 7 years old.
5. I am of mixed parentage of Chinese, Indonesian, & Dutch.

LOVELY by Jessy Christopher

I have always loved to combine fussy cutting with die cuts on my layout. Using different kinds of stickers like puffy will create interesting textures and dimensions on the layout.

ALL THINGS GROW WITH LOVE by Jessy Christopher

Fussy cutting is always therapeutic to me. One of my favorite go-to tools that is always nearby are my faithful precision scissors.

BIBLE JOURNALING by Jessy Christopher

Expressing my faith through art is something I enjoy doing. It is my way of spending time alone with God.

LOVE YOU by Jessy Christopher

At times, I enjoy using my Silhouette machine to cut designs for the background. It sure speeds up the creative process!

MAGNET STUDIO by Jessy Christopher

Home decor projects are also one of my favourites to create!

OH HAPPY DAY by Jessy Christopher

I always love to explore with mixed media and for this layout I kept my layering minimal so that I could showcase the photos and also that colourful background.

JAW DROPPING!!!! Each and every single one of these projects by Jessy is so gorgeous, I hope you love them as much as I do!

I also want to take the opportunity to say thank you to Stamp & Scrapbook Expo for letting me a blogger and sharing layouts of mine and friends over the past few years. This will be my last post and it has been such a joy to be a part of this community!! Blowing kisses and sending virtual hugs – it’s been so fun! Stay in touch via my instagram, YouTube, blog, Facebook, and Pinterest!

These are all so beautiful! I totally have to try replicating the style and texture. Gorgeous! Maybe I’ll even try it with my bible journaling!

Paige- I am sorry to hear you won’t be posting these spotlights any longer!! I have secretly hoped to make it on your list one day but have so enjoyed viewing the all of the creative projects and meeting the talented ladies you have posted about!!! I have found so many Pinterest pins and new Instagram inspiration from these posts! Will someone be taking over or will that be the end of the designer spotlight?? Sad to see you go!
