Hello, my crafty friends, Lorraine here to share a beautiful handmade mini album. First I’d like to introduce the designer. Tammy is our newest team member and she embellished this adorable album using Graphic 45’s Floral Shoppe Collection. You can imagine her delight when she discovered that it was included in the Latest & Greatest Scrapbooking workshop kit. You may have met Tammy at the Creativity Center or in one of our Latest & Greatest workshops. She is an amazing teacher and loves to share her love of paper crafting with others.
Who would have guessed that this adorable mini album was created using a recycled file folder and a few sheets of paper? You will need to do a bit of scoring to create the desired scorelines/pockets, but you’ve got this!
See what I mean? They really are recycled plain file folders cut in half horizontally leaving the top intact. The section with the tab is pretty much the entire album, the pockets are the other half of the file folder. If you want to incorporate all the fun insert cards, you will need a second file folder. Talk about a trash-to-treasure project! With a little inspiration from our crafty friend Tammy you, too, can create a gorgeous mini album in no time and it will cost you next to nothing, since we all have a serious paper stash, right?
Here is the album all tied up and ready to gift to that someone special.
I am in love with all the interactive pockets and pull out folders all dressed up in that famous Graphic 45 style.
The pockets are perfect for adding additional photos, hidden journaling, or maybe even a gift card or two. The possibilities are endless. I’ll definitely be making a few of these for the holidays. “I wouldn’t love a handmade album and a gift card to my favorite store” said no one ever!
I hope this adorable handmade mini album has inspired you to create your own unique album. I know its hard to believe but not everyone is a talented scrapbooker like yourself, so be the hero and share the love.
Thanks for the great visit!
Hugs to all, Lorraine
