What’s Hot On the Stamp and Scrapbook Expo Show Floor

Happy New Year, my crafty friends, and welcome back to Weekly Scrapper! The Stamp & Scrapbook Expo team is busy behind the scenes preparing for an amazing 2018 season. Our show season kicks off in Pleasanton, CA on March 2-3. We’d love to see you there! If you can’t make that show, not to worry because we have 19 shows on the calendar for 2018. As many of you know the beginning of the new year for me means all new and exciting projects for the Creativity Center. I am happy to report that I will be sharing some “holy cow!” projects this season. I am excited to say that we will be creating some unique projects using a variety of Craft Fantastic merchandise in the Creativity Center. 🙂 Their products are amazing and the possibilities are endless. You are gonna love their free Make N Take so be sure to stop by the Creativity Center and join the fun!

I recently discovered that Craft Fanstatic has a kit of the month available. I was going to list all the items that are in the January kit but the list is quite long so when you have a minute, click here and I’ll take you over to the Craft Fantastic site so so you can check it out. Be prepared to be amazed! Just a heads up, their November and December kits sold out pretty quick so don’t wait too long because when they’re gone, they’re gone. It really is a killer deal and I wouldn’t want you to miss out.

The January kit of the month also comes in a beautiful Antique Brass for all you shabby chic fans.

Feel free to use your own photos to personalize your pieces. Just remember that the best paper to use is a standard 20lb copy/printer paper. This paper is very inexpensive and readily available at big box or office supply stores. The natural inclination is to use an expensive photo paper, but fight the urge, those papers typically have a glossy finish and don’t work as well. This is one time that the less expensive way is the best way to go.

Here is a basic necklace that you can create in less than five minutes

Glass Bling Bookmarks

Who wouldn’t love to receive a set of these adorable bookmarks, wouldn’t they make a cute teacher’s gift?

What a beautiful way to share a fun statement or a favorite quote. I’ve made 100’s of these for various events and for the holidays and they are always a hit. This is also a great project to get the kids involved with since its so fast and easy.

I love creating holiday-themed jewelry like these adorable Halloween earrings. What’s not to love? They are so fast, easy, and inexpensive to make and you know the girls are going to love ’em!

I highly recommend stopping by the Craft Fantastic site asap because I wouldn’t want you to miss out on the January kit of the month.  It really is gorgeous and you still have plenty of time to create lots of fun Valentine’s piskies/gifts. Click here and I will be happy to take you over for a visit. Happy crafting, my friends! See you at the show; I’ll meet you at the Creativity Center. Hugs to all!

I was introduced to Craft Fantastic last year at the Scrapbook Expo. I didn’t think it was going to be “my thing” but I love the products. I love my necklaces and they make such beautiful gifts. It was a delightful surprise. I stocked up on supplies at the Expo and was glad I did!
