Hey everyone! Roree here with today’s Make It Monday post.
Our next show is in Sacramento CA on November 1 & 2. Stamp & Scrapbook Expo will be teaching four “Latest & Greatest” workshops at this show: Card Making, Cool Tools, Scrapbooking, and Stamping. Today I am going to be creating with a new product from our Card Making class: La-La Land Crafts‘ Garden Fence Die.
If you take the Card Making class, you will receive the Garden Fence Die:
With it, I created this card:
I wanted to do something a little different than just using it as a standard fence, so I decided to create a frame with it.
I cut out two fence shapes and adhered them together to create my frame.
I knew that I would be highlighting a large sentiment, so I wasn’t worried about the overlap showing.
I placed the frame in the center of my card, added the sentiment die cut, and decorated on each side of the frame. I used papers, ephemera, and layered stickers from a sampler kit in our Latest & Greatest: Scrapbooking class: the Wildflower & Honey collection by Vicki Boutin.
Sacramento will be the last show we teach this Latest & Greatest: Card Making workshop featuring the La-La Land Crafts‘ Garden Fence Die since our year is coming to a close. We hope you get a chance to join us.
I hope you enjoyed today’s Make It! Monday project. Thanks so much for stopping by!
