Coptic Mini Album By Lisa Fonseca

How many of you have purchased boxed cards because you fell in love with the cute pattern on the cards?  I know I have a few sets sitting in one of my drawers in my craft room.  When I came upon this amazing and fun mini album, I knew I had hit a treasure and a way to finally use some of them in a creative way.  You all know how much I appreciate a unique mini album, and this one is no exception.  Just think of all the possibilities!  I’m thinking this is definitely one of those you need to give a try.

Tropical Backgrounds By Marge Yoon

When creating a card, adding a beautiful background really gives the card that beautiful artsy look with minimal effort.  Your card will be quick and yet showy, not to mention very impressive.  I am a huge fan of using stencils; it is such a great way to add a beautiful patterned background to your cards.  With summer upon us, the tropical theme of the stamps and stencils are perfect for summertime crafting.

Word dies are very popular right now; try stacking several words on top of each other for some added visual interest.  As you can see, the words “happy summer” really pop against the gorgeous tropical background.
