Hello my crafty friends and welcome back to our blog! We are in the process of gearing up for an amazing new show season. 2020 is going to be the best ever at the Stamp and Scrapbook Expo; we have so much happening and I can’t wait to share my new projects with you in the Creativity Center! Today I will be sharing some of the treasures that you will be seeing in the Local King Rubber Stamps booth.
Local King Rubber Stamp Company was created by the artist Lisa over 12 years ago. When you attend the shows, you will be happy to know Lisa herself is typically there in the booth sharing her inspiration with her fellow paper crafters.
Here is a tiny taste of their show specials. You’ll be happy to know that when you walk into the booth they always have show specials at great prices. Definite bang for your buck!
While you’re at the booth, be sure to check the demo! It’s one of those things you have to see to really appreciate the magic. I have been in the stamping/scrapbooking industry for over eighteen years (and I will admit it takes a lot to blow my mind), but when I first saw Lisa demoing her stamps, I was and still am in awe.
Local King Magic Mushrooms
Tell me these don’t look great for all those gorgeous inky backgrounds that we love to create. They were recently released and I haven’t gotten my hands on them yet, but at our last show, Lisa had a few at the booth, so I did get enough of a taste to know I need them (LOL)! Act quickly; they have a limited supply (and YES they are on special)!
May I share a little secret with you? We will be playing with both the Magic Mushrooms and that amazing Dew Drop Stamp in the Creativity Center this season! I know: GET OUT! The Dew Drop background stamp was released in November, and at our last show in 2019 those puppies flew off the shelf! The detail is amazing and it actually looks dimensional just by stamping with ink. Can you imagine how fun it would be to add a little Crystal Lacquer over the droplets?
You will never be left feeling uninspired; in addition to the amazing demos that they share throughout the show, there are always lots of sample projects in the booth.
Don’t you just love that yummy background? If you’d like to see just how easy it is to create a gorgeous background, be sure to check out Lisa’s Youtube tutorials.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing a peek at what you will find in the Local King Rubber Stamps booth. We are about to begin our twenty-second year of fun and inspiration to our fellow paper crafters and you know what that means: it’s time to start planning that much needed weekend away with your creative peeps! Click here and I will be happy to escort you over to our website so you can check out our show schedule. With this many shows around the nation, the question is not what show you should attend, but rather how many shows you can attend!
Don’t forget that even when you are not attending a Stamp & Scrapbook Expo, you can always join us online!
