Spring is in the Air

Cards might be little, but they are packed with so much inspiration. This is one of those cards that can be so versatile. Give it as an Easter card, a baby card, or just a Spring Hello! Who wouldn’t want to receive this adorable card in the mail?

This sweet card was created by Shannon White with Enchanted Ladybug Creations. Shannon is a very talented lady with so many wonderful creations. Be sure to stop by her blog for more inspiration.

Shannon stamped Hello Spring with black ink onto white cardstock. She did a little paper piecing and colored up the rest with her Copic markers.

Using the new coordinating “Spring is in the Air” dies, Shannon cut out the image and popped it up with a bit of foam tape onto her fluffy clouds. She created these clouds using the Taylored Expressions (TE) Cloud Border and Tumbled Glass Distress ink with a stippling brush.The grass was cut using a grass border die.

Shannon’s mats were created with TE’s Snow White cardstock and Choice Kraft cardstock swiss dot. To add some dimension, she used a bit of foam tape with some scraps from My Mind’s Eye Sweetest Thing Lavender 6 x 6 collection, and Memorable 6 x 6 collection. The finishing touches to her card are a little distressing with white frost ink, along with a couple of adhesive pink pearls.
