I love a good trash to treasure project, don’t you? There is just something about creating a useful item out of something you would typically throw away. Have fun upcycling those empty jars in your house. These make great storage containers for your scrapbook room. Who said storage needs to be ugly. :-).
You can use just about any empty jar, I prefer glass but you can also use a nice shaped plastic jar as well. Remove any unwanted labels from your jar. Depending on the size of your jar you’ll need 2 strips of your favorite patterned paper, to cover the rim of the jar lid & the body of the jar, ScorTape, circle die cut for the perfect circle to line the lid, some distress inks to coordinate with your papers.Ink up the edges of your paper stips & have fun embellishing.
I can think of dozens of uses for these adorable altered jars. Everything from gift giving to storage containers for all our treasured embellishments. The possibilities are endless. I’d like to thank The original designer Arlene Butterflykisses for sharing todays inspiration piece.
Thanks for visiting & I hope you have a very creative day.
