Are you looking for some new decor to add to your home. These door headers are great and add so much charm. The signs will give your home an extra punch. These darling signs are so exquisite and the cost to create them is so inexpensive.
These are so fun to make and very easy. You only need three products to create your hallway signs. Here are some simple instructions on how to make them.
You will need to purchase plant brackets. These can be purchased in any garden section at your local stores.
You will need to purchase three oval plaques and cup hooks. The cup hooks will be placed on the top center of each one.
Here is a close up to see that it is placed in the middle of the top edge.
Make sue whatever plant bracket you purchase, that the plaque will hang in the space under it without touching the bracket. You don’t want it to hang crooked.
The plaques are finished by first applying a coat of creamy colored paint, then add a dark antique brown just around the edges. Give it one more light spray of cream just in the center. Let them dry really well, then sand them down a little to give a distressed look.
You can use your Cricut to cut out some vinyl words, or you can use rub on letters from the scrapbook section of a store. There are various of places on the web that will cut words for you as well. Here are a couple of examples of words that you can use.
Put the vinyl lettering on both sides so you can see it either way you are going down the hallway. Be sure to buy a plaque that is double sided as well (this means it has the finished grooved edge on both sides).
