With Halloween just around the corner, here is an absolutely darling Halloween wreath to create and hang on your door or wall. This fun wreath will capture so much attention. Who would have ever thought that an embroidery hoop could turn into something so darling?
Use an embroidery hoop the size of wreath you desire. For the center, cut out heavy cardstock to fit the hoop and glue it on. Then cut 6 x 1″ paper strips of several different Halloween printed papers. Using a bone folder or scissors, curl your paper and then glue the paper around the hoop. You can add some ribbon along with the paper if desired. With a banner paper punch or die, cut out the Halloween banner, making the size according to the size of hoop you use. Create the banner adding some die cut or sticker letters to spell the word Halloween. Add “Oct. 31” with either a die cut or stickers using glitter paper. For the final touch, add a few gold bat embellishments along with a ribbon at the top to hang it with. So simple, so fun, and so creative!
I’d like to thank Linda Walsh for sharing her darling wreath; make sure to stop by her blog for more inspiration. Thank you for taking the time to stop by. Happy Halloween!!!!
