Looking back through my layouts I’ve found that I love to create bursting backgrounds!

Here I sprayed the background and the divided each section with a punched border.
1ST DAY OF PRIMARY
I backed a circle burst with lots of patterned papers to create this custom background.

Once again I backed a burst design with patterned papers and added texture and dimension with hand stitching and epoxy border stickers.

I made bursts with watercolors and topped each section with die cuts representing things I love at 30 years old.
