Oh, Come Let Us Adore Him

I purchased this stamp set last year intending to make Christmas cards with it.  I was frustrated with the lack of stamping products that reflected a christian message for Christmas.  So, for whatever reason, I didn’t use it last year.  Now I’m shopping for designs using this stamp set, and this one is at the top of my list.  I’m all for CASEing (CASE stands for Create and Share Everything) great designs.

 Designed by Lisa Foster
Thanks Lisa, for sharing how you created this card:  “I stamped the image on Crumb Cake cardstock using Crumb Cake Classic ink.  I then used my Early Espresso marker to to color the parts of the image I wanted the darkest, I then went over the next area with my Crumb Cake marker to blend the colors, and then left the stamped image alone for the lightest parts.
The star over Bethlehem is colored with a clear glitter pen as well as the outer stars and inside of the card:
For the Sand (ooo this is my favorite part 🙂
I used Champagne Glitter Glass (adhering it with a thin even coating of Tombow glue)  **hint..Glitter Glass must be applied with either Tombow or Crystal Effects..(it won’t stick otherwise)
The background is made using the Music Notes Wheel & Champagne Metallic ink (non SU) (Appologies, I don’t have any, but I would have used the Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint)”
