I have spent the last few months making more process videos! I know I love to watch how other people create layouts and projects from start-to-finish so I thought, why not make some myself too? It’s been a great learning opportunity for me and I hope you enjoy seeing how a few of my recent pages came together!
LOVE YOU by Paige Evans – This is one of those layouts that did a 180 on me and looks nothing like I had pictured in my mind’s eye at the beginning – and that’s OK! I thought about using the big and beautiful flowers from Paper 02 in the Moonstruck collection, but changed my mind mid-way and went with the hearts from Paper 06.
LAUGH AT THE LITTLE THINGS by Paige Evans – Challenging myself to step out of my comfort zone sometimes leads to new techniques that I find out I love! I think this is one of those instances. I don’t consider myself a huge stamper, but after playing with the stamp set in Oh My Heart, let’s just say I’m a convert! In addition to the Oh My Heart stamp set I also used a few die cuts, chipboard stickers, puffy stickers, paper stickers, washi, and of course some hand and machine stitching.
OH MY HEART MINI ALBUM by Paige Evans – I fell in love with the clever cut file designed by Bea Valint from My Shiny Studio (http://myshinystudio.blogspot.de/2016…) which creates the foundation for an entire mini album from a single sheet of paper or cardstock. So fun and unique! Click on that link above to go to her blog post and download the cut file and get started adding photos, embellishments, stamping, journaling, and more! Note: for these albums I altered the cut file a bit and removed the flower shaker window. I made one album using my newest collection with Pink Paislee called Oh My Heart and another one using the stunning Moonstruck collection.
SNUGGLE BUDS by Paige Evans – In this video I share how I’m using my Oh My Heart collection to create pages for my son Fox! One of my favorite shapes to use for little guys is STARS! They’re so versatile and simply fun to use. I created three rows of various sized stars made from various materials (cardstock, patterned paper, and vellum) and stitched them down over a mixed media background. I hope after watching you are inspired to give this technique a try!
