I must say that I am very excited about having the opportunity to inspire you through both Weekly Scrapper as well as in the Creativity Center at Stamp & Scrapbook Expo. Adding Layers To Your Pocket Pages with Jess Forster

Who says pocket pages have to be void of texture and layers? Scrapbookers tend to be what I call “collectors of fine things.”  There is definitely something to be said for walking onto the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo show floor and enjoying each and every booth in search of new embellishments for your scrapbooking. I have been with Scrapbook Expo over 16 years and I still shop that floor like I’ve never seen it before! 😉 By creating a flip pocket on your pocket pages you now have the opportunity to add some of those new embellishments that you bought at the show. YAY!

I often hear from many card makers that they tend to struggle with masculine-themed cards so I hope you enjoy this fun card designed by Birka. (You might need to hit the translate button once you arrive on her blog.) Birka shows us just how easily this artsy card comes together.

Its been awhile since I broke out my alcohol inks, how about you? I love the pop of color that the alcohol ink brings to this card. Wouldn’t it be a perfect card for someone that just got their first car; just include some gas money and you’re good to go. If it’s a girl, change the color if you want, what’s not to love?

Many of you know that my favorite food of all time would be Asian food.  It pains me to say that I am not as creative in the kitchen as I am in “my happy place” (my craft room). Needless to say, I am extremely thankful for amazing food blogs like Carlsbad Cravings.
