Does this colorful design catch your eye on this Book Print? I love to use paper from sheet music, or an old book when I’m making cards or scrapbooking. I enjoy using different techniques that help me become more creative when I am doing projects. This was something that I found on Pinterest. I decided to give it a try. This was such a fun, and simple technique, and it added so much to my card.
There are a couple of ways that you can create this. Using a large rubber stamp with a black ink pad, stamp your image on the area where you would like the image to be. Using your alcohol markers color and shade the print to bring out that beautiful image. You can also find great designs on your computer. Run your book print through your printer, the image will then be copied to the book print. Leaving it just black and white gives it a vintage look. If you love color, then color and shade it with your alcohol markers. This will bring out that beautiful image you have created.
That is beautiful. Where did you find that gorgeous Magnolia image?
Just Google Magnolia image? A bunch of different ones will come up for you.
How do the papers of sheet music or older book hold up since they are not acid free? Doesn’t matter much with making cards but I would think it’s a factor for scrapbooking.
Don’t understand the directions on how you made this beautiful print?? Lol, I’m new to this crafty stuff. I would appreciate any clarification.
Thanks Bunches

Hi Rene, I’m so glad you found us! A project like this is really pretty simple. Stamp an image with black ink on book print and color it with the coloring tools of your choice. If you don’t have Copic markers, try colored pencils. Good luck!
