I’m entirely delighted to introduce you to Gail Lindner – I had the pleasure of meeting Gail at CHA this past January and she is a true delight. We now have a saying “Everyone needs a Gail.” She’s wonderful inside and out and talented to boot!

SB Expo Profile-Pic
Tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got started crafting: I’m a stay at home mum to three young children who keep me very busy! I’ve been scrapbooking for over 16 years now (I started when I was a teenager) and I honestly love it just as much today as I did back then! I’m lucky enough to be on the design teams for Pink Paislee, Bazzill Basics, and Jillibean Soup.

Favorite thing to create: I’m a scrapbooker through and through and love documenting our family stories so I will always love creating layouts first and foremost!

What do you love about this hobby? I could talk about this all day! First, it would be the memories that I have captured – tangible proof for my kids of how much they are loved. Next it would be the amazing friendships I have formed because of this hobby and finally, who doesn’t love pretty things?

5 fun facts about yourself:
1. I live fairly close to lots of beaches but I actually prefer to swim in a pool – no risk of sea creatures! Eeek!
2. I get really carsick – so I always have to be the driver.
3. Before kids I was a beauty therapist.
4. I’ve traveled from Australia to the USA four times, the first being when I was 18 years old – I discovered scrapbooking on this trip.
5. I love watching the same movies over and over until I can quote them! (Hello: Pitch Perfect!)

Here is Gail’s fabulous spotlight project:

So-Lucky

SO LUCKY by Gail Lindner

Every now and then it’s so fun to create a layout using all your favorite colors and things! I absolutely adore the soft pinks, aquas, and yellows in the current planner collection from Heidi Swapp so I used them on a layout instead of in my planner!

I adore layering patterned papers and love how the fresh colors in the patterned paper from the Pink Paislee Memorandum collection “popped” against the stark white cardstock!

SB-Expo-Happy

HAPPY by Gail Lindner

This layout came about because I had an idea to cut multiples of the Heidi Swapp ‘hello’ word die from watercolor paper and then give them an ombre-inspired color wash. I love the way it turned out!

SB-Expo-Love-This

LOVE THIS by Gail Lindner

I’m not usually one for too much fussy cutting but I couldn’t resist the flowers in that gorgeous fall paper from Pink Paislee! Once I cut them out, I arranged them in a wreath shape.

HAPPY DAY by Gail Lindner

I kind of (REALLY) like the look of white on white with a POP of color so that’s how I decided to scrap this pic of myself and my good friend with the one and only Mickey Mouse! It’s a subtle ode to the famous mouse ears!

So many amazing creations created by Gail! Make sure to stop by her blog and other social media to find more amazing things she’s made!
