Freebie Friday – Legacy Woodcrafters

Legacy Woodcrafters Giveaway

Freebie Friday with Jen Walker

Happy Friday! I hope all of our friends in the USA had a wonderful Thanksgiving and a chance to spend some well-deserved time off with family and friends. My daughter went on an adventure to the USA with some friends and enjoyed a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner with family and lots of shopping!

It has been a long time since I hosted a Freebie Friday as I have been off on medical leave. I am kind of back now, but only part time until the new year. I had planned to announce all of the winners from the posts that Pam Baird hosted but have been having internet connecting issues so I will announce them next week instead.

As scrapbookers and card makers, we not only preserve memories but we collect lots and lots of supplies. With all the supplies that we collect, we need to have great organization skills. We also need storage that is large, nice looking and functional too. Enter Legacy Woodcrafters! Legacy Woodcrafters was originally created to fill the needs of Angie and her scrapbooking friends. Randy had been working in the wood and laminate cabinet business for many years and saw a need for good quality (you can stand on their cubes)

Legacy Woodcrafters

Legacy Woodcrafters was originally created to fill the needs of Angie and her scrapbooking friends. Randy had been working in the wood and laminate cabinet business for many years and saw a need for good quality (you can stand on their cubes) organizational furniture that didn’t require you to build it and also did not require that you had other specific furniture pieces already. Using the cubes and tops from Legacy Woodcrafters, you can create your very own work and storage space to suit your needs and space. They are very versatile, easy to clean and fit with most decor. All of the items were created to fit up to 12×12 items and big enough to hold albums and plastic storage paper holders. This collection was definitely built with a scrapbooker in mind.

I love the idea of this work surface with the cubes and the ends facing both sides and room for a chair on each side. When my kids were little we pushed together two desks so we could sit face to face when getting crafty. That setup has always been my favourite. I loved being able to watch them create while I worked on my projects.

There are so many combinations you can create using the various cubes and different counter tops. Here are a few different setups:

And wheels! I love that you could build a tower of scrapbook supplies that you pull over to your desk and then push back into the corner when it is not needed. Love this idea!

The cubes are sold in a number of different formats. You can choose the number of fixed shelves you would like as well as you can include two different sizes of drawers. You can also have the fixed shelves running either horizontal to hold paper and paper cases or vertical to hold your albums upright. The cubes can be stacked in any way you like and you can also get a counter top to finish off the work surface.

Here is a video showing a large number of the cubes set up and organized along a wall and then also as a desk.

I think my favorite is the one that is being given away…the 3 fixed shelves. Thanks for the chance to win such a generous giveaway.

  2. Camille Pimentel says:

I love the Cube with 5 Fixed Shelves Insert 16 Inches. It is great to have when you want to keep your 12 x 12 craft paper and cardstock separated and easy to find!

  3. Caren says:

I love the 8 cube desk! It is just what I was looking for. Looking to remodel my crafting area but having a hard time finding furniture worth the cost.

  4. Denise Bryant says:

What a fabulous prize! I love their Cube, Four Drawers 16 Inch unit! Looks like it could hold a lot of stamps and ink pads!

  5. Mary Nelson says:

They are all fabulous, but my favorite is the cube for 12×12 paper. It’s horrible when your beautiful papers get torn or wrinkled!

  6. Julie says:

All of the cubes are fabulous! Very hard to pick one. But I really like this one with the three fixed shelves. Great for keeping paper sorted. Or maybe some Iris or Art bins?

  7. barb macaskill says:

The countertop 5 cubes wide is my favorite product! I am hoping that I can start building my cube wall in the Spring and this product would be a great starter for it! I would need 3 of these to do most of one wall. What a dream this would be! I actually get happy shivers down my spine just thinking about it!! Magnificently magical! Fingers crossed and thank you so much for “introducing” me to Legacy Woodcrafters! I am now following them on Pinterest, Facebook and subscribed to their youtube channel!

    • barb macaskill says:

Oh no! I was so excited about the cubes that I forgot to say that I hope things are going well for your recovery! I know how it feels to be sick/healing from surgery. Sending heeling thoughts and prayers your way! (((HUGS)))!

  8. Deb in WA says:

I love all of them but if I had to choose one, it would probably be the four drawers. Thanks for the chance to win.

  9. Jeanna says:

The item that is the prize is my favorite one (3 fixed shelves cube 16″)…. I am in serious need of somewhere to store my 12×12 scrapbook papers! The ribbon rack is a very close second… I love it!!

  10. Vivian C. says:

Your “as scrapbookers and card makers we collect a lot of supplies” statement is too true. My friends and I are always lamenting the need for storage for all the cool supplies we own. Legacy Woodcrafters storage products look great. I really like the tower on wheels. If I have to pick one product, it would be the counter top one cube wide, because it takes the tower to the next level. It gives you a work area for one of your tools like a paper cutter or die cutter. Thanks for the chance to win a cube.

  11. Corinne White says:

So many great products. My favorite would be the cube with 5 fixed shelves. Would love to redo my hodge-pod he craft room with such great pieces.

  12. Betsy Burnett says:

I love the drawers!!! Then you add wheels to a tower!! Love that!! These cubes look so much nicer not to mention sturdier than the ones I’m used to finding!

  13. Michelle says:

OMG…how can I choose?!?! I want all of them! Im just starting out but I feel I have supplies scattered everywhere. I can see all your products helping me out and getting me the chance to use all my products.

  14. Marj Kiley says:

I need all the organization help I can get. I also can’t wait for September 2017 to be back with Scrapbook Expo in Marlboro MA.

  15. Maryann Stahl says:

i was so excited going through the catalog!! It was difficult choosing a favorite item. I kept going back & forth designing my craft room! But I decided on the wheeled base as my ‘first’ favorite item. My reasoning is simple! I’m a woman and would move my units around until I finally found the perfect spots!!

    • Maryann Stahl says:

So excited you highlighted this company!! I’ve got a craft room now, but I’m sure it’s like many crafters rooms … filled with furniture and shelving and whatever that works better than the dining room table!!
Something to dream for and reasonable in price that it may Become a reality!!

  16. Carrie Tahquechi says:

My favorite “piece” is sort of a combo item. I love the rolling tower so I’d have to choose the rolling wheels or the one cube counter top as favorite to put on top of two three fixed shelve units.

  17. Diane Olson says:

Too many products to choose just one favorite! The fixed shelf with the drawer option really caught my eye. Thanks for the chance to win!

  18. Terri says:

I could t pick a favorite…… all the fives are so functional. I want to start my own workspace like those shown. Winning one would be the jumpstart I need!

  19. MICHAEL BESS says:

This would be really nice to have to store my scrapbook papers. they have lots of different storage bins for storing lots of different supplies!

  20. Pat Armbruster says:

I have a cheaper cube from another manufacturer and do enjoy the cube, either in the horizontal or vertical orientation. Having seen your products at Scrapbook Expo, I am impressed with the quality of your products. I would love to change out my cheaper cube for one of yours, as I have found this to be the best organization product for my needs. Winning your cube would be absolutely wonderful. Thank you for offering this wonderful gift.

  21. Julia says:

What a nice quality organizing system. I have the cheap versions, will have to consider upgrading. I love the cube that holds the paper cases. It is impossible to find a nice cabinet to fit those cases and I have a lot of them. Thanks for the chance to win?

  22. Marianne Hobbs says:

It’s like you were reading my mind! Just this morning I was telling my husband that I think we should get rid of the two desks we have in my studio and set up a big flat countertop with corner storage underneath it. That way we could both work at the same time (we happen to love spending time together and he does woodworking while I papercraft). It would also provide a surface large enough to cut fabric on. So after looking at the catalog, my favorite is the countertop, and of course it has to be on top of corner squares for storage!

  23. Diana Rodriguez says:

I love the drawer cabinet! But I also love the giveaway cabinet. Perfect for my paper!! Thanks for the chance to win!

  24. Lynn Black says:

The cube with the 5 fixed shelves would be my favorite but all of them would help get my craft room organized!

  25. Becca Yahrling says:

Wow, awesome storage! I really would so love to have the Top/desk for eight cubes. What a fabulous craft area this would be.

  26. Barbara says:

Hmmm, favorite product?? Simply cannot decide on one or two, they all look fabulous to get me organized and crafting easier! The wheeled base is perfect to use as I sometimes like to move things with me as I go. Also love that they’re made in the USA!

  27. Veronica says:

It’s so hard…I love them ALL! But for some reason, I’m drawn to the “Counter Top Four Cubes”…it has so many possibilities for storage. Would love to win something for the new year!!!!

  28. Susan Pezza says:

I like the cube with the four fixed shelves and adding on the drawers because that would I could away current projects that I’m working on and nothing would be lost. Awesome items and awesome giveaway!

  29. Shana Yeary says:

I love how versatile these are. I like the shelving unit, but the desk configuration is pretty cool too. I think I need some of these!

  30. Denise says:

I just rearranged and reorganized my craft room…..this storage would look awesome in my new room. Definitely could use some of these.

  31. Ramona Asmus says:

I love the vertical dividers for paper storage in bins, or not… these are terrific- on my Christmas wish list (:

  32. alyse d says:

wow what a great product! I love the one you are giving away a great start to my crafting room make over! I’m off to the website now again thanks and welcome back!
    alyse d

  33. Patricia Allison says:

Counter top one cube wide… Large enough to store many papers and supplies, and small enough to fit in my house!

  34. Diane Telford says:

I like the one that is the giveaway. Now, I have my Iris boxes stacked. It would be nice to just get one and not have to move them all…(the one I want is always on the bottom)

  35. Debi Neeley says:

I would be honored to have this in my little makeshift craft room. I would have a very professional looking room for sure! I Love It!

  38. Joy Blonska says:

I LOVE the rolling counter top, one block wide. My craft room is also my office so it would be perfect for me. I could roll it out of the way when opening my filing drawers for my “work.” Card crafting has become my passion and I’m finding it very difficult to focus on anything else–like real life! I’m a goner…

  39. Samantha Coleman says:

I just love all of it! But if I had to pick just one I would love the paper storage cubes as that is the first thing I am sadly lacking.

  40. Lisa H says:

I think the 8 cube desk is amazing. What a great idea and the ability to customize makes it even better. I love that it’s all set up for 12×12

  41. Diane G says:

If I had to choose, I think it would be the drawers. Looks like good quality cubes. Thanks for the chance to win. Seasons Greetings to all

  42. Linda Green says:

They all look wonderful. I love the 4-drawer cube. Hope I win and can continue to add on more of your superb products!

I like the cube she showed in the video with the removable drawer. That would be wonderful to keep the “next up” items on my current project!

  44. Angie - Legacy Woodcrafters says:

  48. Penny Adams says:

Any of the Legacy products would be helpful to me at this point. I keep buying craft supplies and I’m running out of storage space. Nothing is organized anymore. I think the countertop with four sections would be ideal. Love how sturdy it all is

  49. Sandra Gibbs says:

I am really getting excited about this year’s Expo. I am like a little kid the week before Christmas! My favorite product is Cube, Four Drawers 16 Inch because I could also use it as a printer stand!

  50. Shirley Markuson says:

i like the cube with the 5 shelves, be great for 12×12 paper. It is amazing how much of that a person can collect. Thanks for the opportunity.

In total, the desk/workstation arrangement is completely stealing my heart!

  54. Donna Nuce says:

I love the cart on wheels. This is a product I have been looking for. So tired of the cheap ones that sag if you stack to much on top of them. Love the product!

  55. Mandy Lehman says:

I love Legacy Woodcrafters – wonderful couple and company. It’s hard to find quality craft furniture and these were designed by such a creative team based on what she knew she wanted and needed in a creative space coupled with his creativity and skill.

  56. Connie Ferguson says:

You had me at “Ribbon Rack”! I think that I could use about ten of these because I have sooooo much ribbon. Also love the counter tops and the wheeled bases for the cubes. I would be so happy to win anything from this company!

  57. Pam Makis says:

I love this look and they seem like they are very solid. This would look so much better than the white 6ft table that I am currently using.

  58. Lisa Norstrom says:

Very nice looking cubes – my favorite would be the 16″ crosshatch with 4 cubbies – but honestly, it is hard to pick a fave – they all look nice.

  59. Linda Brady says:

I love the 5 fixed shelves cube for papers. But the open cube would be great for a few of the many scrapbooks I have put together. Hard choice!

  60. Patricia Hackman says:

Like everything that I’ve seen. The 6 fixed shelves for paper would really be great for
all the paper I have collected. So hard to choose!
