Chipboard Letters with Gesso

I am always drawn to pages that have a lot of white space.  The photos really pop on them.  Plus I like this tip on making the chipboard pieces white – by dipping them in gesso!  Great tip!

I always wanted to tryout a softer colour palette on my pages. For this layout, I showcased the silhouette of the Title Chipboard I’ve used. The photo is my sister and her gorgeous daughter. I randomly create layouts of her and her kids so that we can complete the album I gave her.
You and Me

Products Used: Bazzill Cardstock, Masking Tape, MME patterned papers and embellishments, Pebbles brad, Kaisercraft rubon, Shimmerz and October Afternoon Mists, and Gesso acrylic paint
Imaginarium Design Chipboards used:
You and Me (IDP0023)
Embellishment 4 (IDS0013)
To get a full coating of white paint, I simply dipped the chipboards directly to my gesso container. The effect is so beautiful. The chipboard will look as if it was made of clay because of the thickness of the coating. Allow it to dry for a few hours.
