Reaching New Milestones and Christmases Past

This layout reminds me of my first Christmas.  It’s not that I remember it, but the photos tell the story of an abundantly Merry Christmas!

For me, it was 1964 and I was the first grandchild on both sides of my family.  The photo shows me in my robe with dozens of gifts all around the Christmas tree.   I’m guessing that the robe was pink, but the photo is in B/W, just like on this layout.  I’m sure it was a very wonderful Christmas for everyone with a new grandchild in the family, and I’m grateful to whomever took that photo (probably my Dad).  This layout inspires me to scrap some of my own childhood . . .

The designer of this page is Nancy of Designer Digitals.  The starting point of Nancy’s page is Blendables Layered Template No. 10. She added designs from Christmas Village KitSanta Land KitYuletide Clusters Brushes and Stamps, by Katie Pertiet, Strung a Long Festive Tags by Lynn Grieveson and Warm Woolen Alphabets by Pattie Knox.

I hope you enjoyed this project and will consider scrapping your Christmases past.  I know I will!
