A Celebration Of Liberty

I discovered this adorable mini album on the Authentique Blog. The Designer of this project is Tessa Buys. Thanks to both for sharing today’s inspiration. Just in time to prepare for those July 4th pics. I highly recommend stopping by for a visit, you will truly be inspired.

A Celebration Of Liberty

The Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays!  Since we typically spend the 4th with friends and family, I seem to snap a lot of photos.  Why not put together this adorable album to host those treasured memories.  And while you’re at it, make a few to give as gifts. What a warm fuzzy to give the gift of memories of the great Independence Day you spent together…

The base of the album is a 4×6 wood album. Tessa added additional pages by adhering 4×6 pieces of patterned paper together.
Besides the Pride collection, she  added the gold star, washi tape, gold star sequins, doilies (inspired by the Assemble paper), and wood veneer stars. I loved how easy the papers were to mix and match. The beautiful texture of the paper allowed Tessa to sand the edges of each page for a soft, white-core finish.
My favorite details are the stickers. The tiny word stickers were fun to use as photo captions, and the larger stickers made great embellishments when layered and popped up on dimensional adhesive. She completed the album by spray-painting a pair of binder rings gold and affixing them to the book.
