Paper Smooches is best known for fun and whimsical hand-drawn stamps but they are branching out to include dies and wood mount stamps as well. This adorable card was created by Debbie Olson. The paper is a 6 X 6 pad Sunny Side from American Crafts – Pebbles. The cloud in the background was made with a stencil and airbrushed with Copic Markers BG02, BG23, and the airbrush system. Use a Spellbinder Paper Arts A -2 Matting Basics A Die Template to cut, emboss, and mask for airbrushing.
To tie the inside together with the outside, use more paper from the Pebbles Sunnyside Collection. Stamp with Paper Smooches sentiment in Papertrey Ink Raspberry Fizz Ink. Stamp the car first on the cardstock and color the windshield, hub caps, and chrome with gray Copic markers before coating them with Ranger Glossy Accents. For the headlights and tail lights, use a glue pen and fine glitter. You can re-stamp the car on patterned paper and trim it closely, cutting out the headlights, tail lights, and chrome. Then glue the patterned piece on top of the cardstock car. This will give it a raised 3-D look. What a fun card to send to your best friend. Hope you have enjoyed this card.
