I was on Pinterest the other day and happened to come across this CAS 2-page layout. I love everything about this layout, especially the blue/brown color combination, the adorable pictures, and of course the wood veneers that are so very popular right now.

On her first page, not only did Nathalie capture the perfect winter moment in her photo but she was able to translate that wintry feel by using the perfect paper and embellishment combo. She used snowflake wood veneers, buttons, tag wood veneers, and lettering to highlight the theme of the layout without overpowering that adorable face in the photo.
Nathalie repeated the stacked strips of background paper to page two of her layout. I love how the snowflakes are piled up on top of one another. You can also see the snowflakes stamps peaking out the bottom edge and just a tiny bit of the text. Love those little details.
Even though summer is fast approaching you may still have some wintry pics to scrap.
