Love this from Becca Feeken! She is such a talented designer and I love her style!
There is a wonderful tutorial on how to make this honeycomb heart on Becca’s blog, Amazing Paper Grace. It’s really not that hard, and it is oh, so adorable!
Be sure to take a look.
In the meantime, here are the keys to success on this project:
- Use flimsy paper. The thinner the better, card stock won’t work.
- Use sticky glue dots. Some brands stick better than others.
- Make a test project before using your “good” paper.
- Patience! I added this because following the directions exactly will create a much better result!
Becca used a Cricut to cut out the hearts, but you can certainly use a punch. It’s just important to get the same dimensions on every heart.
Make sure to go to Amazing Paper Grace to see the tutorial. We also published an article with a honeycomb ornament last month and there is a video link on this one.
Good luck! Feel free to send us your photos of this project!
I’ve tried to find directions to make the Honeycomb Heart. Is it posted? If so, how do I find it? Thanks!
