Shabby Love Tag

Just look at this beautiful tag by Leslie Ashe!  This is just one of the gorgeous tags I discovered on Prima’s blog. They really have an amazing team of designers, so make sure you visit their blog, you will truly be inspired. Leslie also has her own blog, Just Me & Him.

Want to re-create it?  Start with kraft cardstock. (It will lend itself to any color palette.)  Add die-cuts or punched shapes in darker, but neutral, tones for lots of texture. Touch the tag with a few art mediums (Try Ranger’s Distress Stains or paint dabbers), then wrap with twine.

The embellishments you pick could make this tag either feminine or masculine. Leslie chose Prima’s  Junkyard Findings typo bulbs, twine, wood clip and a stained resin bird to make this tag simply divine!
