Honeycomb Heart

Love this from Becca Feeken!  She is such a talented designer and I love her style!

There is a wonderful tutorial on how to make this honeycomb heart on Becca’s blog, Amazing Paper Grace.  It’s really not that hard, and it is oh, so adorable!

Be sure to take a look.

In the meantime, here are the keys to success on this project:

  1. Use flimsy paper.  The thinner the better, card stock won’t work.
  2. Use sticky glue dots.  Some brands stick better than others.
  3. Make a test project before using your “good” paper.
  4. Patience!  I added this because following the directions exactly will create a much better result!
Becca used a Cricut to cut out the hearts, but you can certainly use a punch.  It’s just important to get the same dimensions on every heart.

Make sure to go to Amazing Paper Grace to see the tutorial.  We also published an article with a honeycomb ornament last month and there is a video link on this one.

Good luck!  Feel free to send us your photos of this project!
