It’s A Masquerade Party

Halloween is such a fun time of the year. It is so enjoyable to see all the precious little children dressed up in their costumes going  to parties, school parades, and even door to door Trick or Treating. This is one of my very favorite holidays, so of course I really enjoy scrapbooking my grandchildren in their priceless costumes.  Thank You goes to Leslie Ashe for creating this great layout.  Be sure and visit her blog Just Me and Him… to see more of her delightful designs.

To create this fun layout start by punching 12 circles using a 3″ circle punch from several papers from the Masquerade Party Collection (Teresa Collins). Place them 4 in a row and make 3 rows going down. Now you will place your photos over the top of the circles.  You can matte your photo by using the file folder from this collection.  Before placing the photo down, add your  tab stickers to the back of your photo.  This really makes the photo stand out; I hope you use this technique on other projects as well.

Adhere some of your favorite embellishments from this collection to your layout. The chipboard borders really add to the bottom of the layout, and you can write your title over the top of the border.

Add your personal title to the top of the page.  With a fine black pen write some of your journaling around the circles. What a fun and easy layout to create.

Creativity involves in breaking out of your traditional style. Take a look at your project in a different way, and never hesitate to try something new.

Thank you for stopping by and have fun creating!
