Hello my crafty friends. With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, I thought I would share this beautiful card designed by Dawn Easton. You can see more of Dawn’s designs on her blog Treasure Oiler Designz.
You really can’t go wrong when you start out a project with kraft colored card stock. It is one of my personal favorites because it goes with just about any color combination. Another steady eddy favorite of mine is stitching on a card and or scrapbook layout. I feel that it really adds to the charm of our handmade treasures. Stitching is a great and inexpensive way to add texture and interest to our projects.
If you don’t have a sewing machine and you love the look, I have a solution. We R Memory Keepers has a great product called Sew Easy and Sew Stampers (their are many different types of stitches). Sew Easy actually pierces the paper and you hand stitch the pattern of your choice. Sew Stampers will give you the look of sewing without any sewing.
