Mason Jar To Go

Today it’s my turn to share a fun Tip Of The Day. If you share a love of Mason Jars like I do, you’re going to love making your own to go cup. Make a set of them to give as a gift during the holidays or a little birthday pishky, not to scare you but the holidays are right around the corner. 😉

There is just something about drinking out of glass that makes drinks more appealing.  I hope you enjoy making your own To Go Cups from jars you might already have at home. For those vintage lovers, you can also use the same technique on your antique jars, you would just replace the lids with new rings & lids. I would even distress them a bit. The opening is the same size.

One thing I didn’t mention in the video is when you punch the hole in the lid you might want to adhere a washer on top and bottom of the lid  around the circle that you punch out for the straw. This will give your project a more finished look. Cheers!

Thanks for visiting and I hope to see you at the next Scrapbook Expo, you will find me in the Creativity Center teaching Free Make N Takes.
