Paper Purse

This breath-taking project is one of those “WOW” was this really hand-made projects?  Yes, it was indeed!  This project actually took less time then making an original card.  This sensational purse was created by Becca Feeken from Amazing Paper Grace.  There are so many incredible opportunities to let your imagination run wild in creating projects, and this is just what Becca did with this priceless paper purse.

Paper Purse

Becca used the embossing folder Celtic Knot and embossed with Gold Art Foil board.  She then buffed it to the degree that she liked.  She purchased a small wooden purse from Michael’s for just a couple of dollars.  Using her favorite gold Krylon Short Cuts Paint she sprayed the box. (It was ready to use in less than 15 minutes)  She then traced the purse on to her embossed panel and her ScorTape Sheet Adhesive and cut them out.  Next she applied her ScorTape to the painted purse then laid the embossing on top of the adhesive and pressed it down good with her fingertips to anchor it.

Paper Purse

To finish it off she used Spellbinders Fleur De Lis Bronz, and Spellbinders Squares One.  Both bezels are spray painted with the same paint, and takes about 3 minutes to dry.  Adding pearls gives it an elegant look.  A great big Thank You to Becca for sharing this priceless project with us.

Have the most wonderful day creating!

Thank you for sharing this project. The purse is awesome. I will be trying my hand at this. I think the purse would make adorable gifts with a gift card and some treats tucked inside.
