Today we have a bright and cheery card using one of the A La Modes stamp sets, Ski Bunny, from My Favorite Things. The sentiment is stamped on the Mini Tabs Foursome using a simple snowflake embellishment made from the Let it Snowflake Die-namics die and some patterned vellum.
The skis are paper-pieced from striped paper and Jody pieced one ski at a time for a more realistic look (if striped skis were realistic, that is). LOL
Here is the inside. Don’t you just love the detail. Sometimes we forget to give the inside of the card the proper attention it deserves. The Die-namics Mini Tabs Foursome dies make sentiments SO easy to place on a card. Just tuck one behind a panel and you are DONE.

I love the colors on this card. Not what you usually see on a wintery card and that’s what makes it special. I thought how nice the coloring matched on the skis and to learn it was paper pieced! Wow it looks really nice.
The striped skis are so fun….and then that unexpected tropical panel inside the card just seals the deal. Beautiful coloring!
