I adore this sweet little wall hanging that I discovered on Hilary Kanwischer’s blog , I love the Americana Theme, you can proudly display this in your home all year. Be sure to stop by Hilary’s Scraps for a wealth of inspiration.
First stamp your desired image onto cardstock. Then from your cartridge set, using the overlay that corresponds with the stamped image, place it over the image where you’d like the cuts to be, (if it’s the first time you are using the template, you’ll need to poke holes as shown directly in the center of the overlay), then make a small dot with a pen where you poked your hole, these are your guides.
Next, laying your cardstock down on the cutting mat, insert it into the Eclips and add the corresponding cartridge to your hand-held controller. You will then be prompted to choose the image you are cutting out. Hilary picked #145, then chose the design. Then selecting from the menu, I chose “Stamp2Cut” option and the laser light will then come on. At this point, simply line the dots of the laser up with your pen marked dots and click okay, when you’re finished…click “cut”! It’s that easy!! 🙂
Next, cut one cameo frame from heavyweight chipboard, and another from pattern paper and machine stitch the two together. Then adhere a doily to the center, then adhere some tinsel ribbon across the top and then add a strip of blue pattern paper across the middle. Adhere a fun die cut as shown, then using hot glue, run a bead of glue across the bottom and apply the eyelet trim. Adhere “USA” stamped image as shown. Next…die cut the smaller 3-D star from the Star Bright set and adhere that to the upper left, then finish with a flag brad, a rusty bell and some gold stars. For the hanger, twist wire through holes at the top and tie or glue ribbons at the corners.

Additional supplies needed, cardstock, pattern paper, ribbon, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous stamp set #145, stamping ink, decorative brad, heavy gauge wire, flag die cut, fine tip pen, tinsel ribbon, gold stars, eyelet trim, white doily, thick heavy chipboard, a rusty bell, good permanent adhesive and hot glue.
