This card is one of those perfect designs that can be adapted to fit any occasion. It has such a great combination using (hot air balloons) patterned paper and letting the Fanciful Feathers stamps take center stage. This card was created with such perfect balance along with the arrangement of elements and color placement. A big Thank you goes out to Jinny Newlin for sharing this charming card. Start with taking white cardstock for the frame of your card. Trim a piece of the hot air balloon designer paper and placing it to the left of the white cardstock. Cutting the gold patterned paper from the back side of the hot air balloons you will place it on the right side of the hot air balloons. Using a Scalloped Border Die you will cut one strip out of white cardstock and place over the seam of the hot air balloons and gold paper. Sew around the card in double gold thread with a straight machine stitch.

Stamp the bottom left corner in Jet Black ink from Ranger with the sentiment “So Grateful For Your Kindess.”

Cut a length of aqua ribbon and wrap it between the hot air balloon and the die-cut cardstock strip, wrapping it around the card. Tie a bow near the top edge. Embellish with an aqua button laced with a white twine bow. Using vellum, die cut feathers and stamp them in gold and emboss. Tuck feathers under the bow. Last you will cut the base of your card with Kraft cardstock and adhere the face of card with foam tape. Very simple and yet such a stunning card, the color combination allows the details to “pop”.
