Everyone loves a beautiful handmade card. Christmas cards are so much fun to make and such a joy to receive. This year put a different twist on making your Christmas cards by using non-traditional colors.
For this card you will create a poinsettia using vellum. Cut and emboss your Poinsettia with the Spellbinders Layered Poinsettia. You will then take your Festive Poinsettia stamp and stamp the top of the die cut.
Color them with Faber-Castell’s Big Brush pen in red. Use a baby wipe on the inked vellum to soften the pen strokes and lightly tint the rest of the vellum pink. Repeat the process for the leaves using a green Big Brush pen. After the Poinsettia is made place it on top of your Christmas Ornament, then you will place leaves behind the poinsettia and add your pearls. Add your ribbon and your sentiment. This beautiful card was created by Darsie Bruno from Crafting With Darsie. A Big Thank You to Darsie for sharing this wonderful inspiration.
Creativity involves in breaking out of your tradtional style. Look at your project in a different way, and never hesitate to try something new.
Have a fun creative day!
