White On White Winter Greetings

Nothing is as elegant as white on white.  Add a little iridescent glitter to mimic the snow and a few pearls, and you have a Winter Wonderland Work of Art!

I’d like to thank the original designer Patti for creating this beautifully detailed card. You can see more of her amazing work on her blog Patti’s Paper Creation.

Patti used Papertrey Ink dies, stamps and paper which are part of their “In the Meadow” line. Love the clean way the dies cut. She also used 3 different embossing folders.  The one used on the tree is actually a full embossed tree in itself, simply slip the die cut tree into the folder where you want  it to be and run it through your die cut/embossing machine.  The swiss dot and divine swirls were used for the background and the snow.  Patti used mica glitter on the swirls to create her snow. I just love the deer in this set!   Lastly, she added some white pearls from Want2Scrap.

The “White on White Winter” greeting card is beautiful. You noted that you used 3 embossing folders. I have located 2 but unable to find the one for the tree. Would you be so kind as to share the name/company for the tree embossing folder?

    Thanks

Hi Betty, Thanks for your question! I know that two of the embossing folders are Swiss Dot and Divine Swirl. The third, used on the tree, I cannot identify. Also, I don’t know the manufacturer on any of the embossing products. I do know that the designer die cut the tree first and then embossed it. I would just try any all over pattern that you enjoy. Here is a link to the original blog: http://papercreationsbypatti.blogspot.com/2012/08/soooo-in-christmas-frame-of-mind.html. Good luck and send us a photo of your project so we can post it!
